Fifth Concert for the Troops!

WHAT: Concert for the Troops WHEN: Saturday, January 17, 2009 WHERE: The Holliston VFW, 310 Woodland Street (across from the Middle School, where there is plenty of parking) WHEN: From 7 to 11 p.m. (or whenever they kick us out) ADMISSION: Donations
Come for the entire night or just stop by for a little while to hear great performances from a diverse lineup of amazing talent. No tickets necessary… this is a family event and donations of any amount are very much appreciated. Our goal is to repeat the success of the last fundraiser and raise $3,000 during the evening. Either cash or checks (made out to The Gulf 2 Fund) are accepted. There will be a cash bar and refreshments, as well as some great raffle items.
All proceeds benefit the American Legion’s Gulf 2 Fund, which for the past five years has sent WEEKLY care packages to local soldiers serving overseas. The money we raise makes it possible to deliver comforts and necessities to our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan.
