My partner-in-music Marc Bridge and I are thrilled to be included in the Dynamic Duo's performing at this month's FIRESIDE COFFEEHOUSE, hosted by the lovely and supremely talented Chris Gerstner.
Please join us in Norwood for a Sunday afternoon filled with music and fun, where you can enjoy a terrific feature by Two for the Show!! INFO: Come to the Fireside Coffeehouse on Sunday January 22 at 2pm for an afternoon of folk music from a collection of Boston-area musical duos and trios. Come and listen or come and play! The featured duo will be Two for the Show, the musical partnership of Ellen Schmidt and Jake Kensinger, who have been performing together for 21 years. Ellen and Jake have a diverse and entertaining repertoire arranged for guitar, bass, and vocals. They present swing and standards, traditional and contemporary folk songs, instrumentals, classic hits, blues, country music, and original compositions, and you will probably be singing along at some point!
The Fireside Coffeehouse takes place at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 24 Berwick Street, Norwood. $5 donation at the door goes to a church music fund. Refreshments provided.
